John Harbaugh, the husband of ATCA member Pam Harbaugh and a frequent attendee of our conferences, died last weekend after a lengthy fight with cancer. He was an educator and musician who was equally articulate about theater, travel, and a dozen other areas of expertise. ATCA chair Bill Hirschman recalls that “John’s gentle smile, eyes with a mischievous twinkle, and wry humor brightened every pre-show dinner and post-show gathering. He was a unique soul who will be missed by everyone who knew him. We are all poorer for the loss. Our heartfelt sympathy to Pam who has been by his side through two years of struggle.”
