Milwaukee Theater Leader Summit report released
Chad Bauman and Mark Clements of the Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced March 18, 2026 the publication of a report summarizing events and presentations at their national convening From Crisis to Catalyst: Transforming the Regional Theatre Landscape. The report and additional content addressing issues addressed during the convening are provided below.
[1] Report by documentarian Mike Fisher entitled Only Connect: Growing Together in Regional Theater provides presentation slides and summary information discussed by theater leaders. Also included on pages 14-20 of the report is the full text of Ayad Akhtar’s keynote address delivered Thursday March 5, 2026, and the full text of Chad Bauman’s welcoming remarks delivered March 4, 2026 on pages 93-97 (also posted here) .
