2022 Theater Hall of Fame inductees announced
July 5, 2022 — The Theater Hall of Fame announced today the 2022 class of inductees. ATCA members join past Hall of Fame inductees to vote on these annual honors. The 2022 cohort includes playwrights Lynn Nottage, (who was announced in 2021 but was unable to attend that year’s ceremony), Suzan-Lori Parks, and Ntozake Shange (1948-2018); actors Christine Ebersole, Bill Irwin, and Mandy Patinkin; director Frank Galati; and sound pioneer Abe Jacob.
The 51th induction ceremony, produced by Terry Hodge Taylor, has been scheduled for November 14, 2022 at the Gershwin Theatre.
