ATCANY2023 | “Holding the Curtain” continues New York meeting tradition

ATCA will hold its annual meeting in New York City November 10-12, 2023. This is the second time that ATCA members have convened in the same physical space since Fall 2019, and the first since last year’s successful midtown meeting entitled “Reseated and In Person,” A study of ATCA conference history shows us that most annual conferences have been located around the country but that routine now may be changing.

Most of the 2022 conference planning team has been working for several months to assemble the evolving 2023 line up of activities: Scott Bennett, David John Chávez, Jay Handelman, Lou Harry, Frank Rizzo, Martha Wade Steketee, and Maren Scriven Swensen.

“Holding the Curtain” will be held Friday, November 10 through Sunday, November 12 in Manhattan, with a possible Saturday field trip to Brooklyn. The schedule of events and locations are still being finalized and can be viewed on the conference event page.

For ATCA members and guests, early bird registration is now open! Members (with currently paid dues) first will need to login and then visit the conference event page to access event tickets. Members are able to purchase tickets for themselves as well as for guests at the same ticket price, “Early Bird” tickets are available now through October 31, and “Full Price” tickets will be available November 1 and thereafter. Members at the point of purchase will be required to enter names and emails for their own and for each guest ticket.

More news and updates will be shared on the conference event page and in the weekly ATCA member Update newsletter.
