Excom busy with plans . . .

At its January meeting, the ATCA Excom handled reports on the Primus and Steinberg prize deliberations, regional conferences and workshops, establishment of a team dealing with ATCA’s digital presence and a plan for a major membership drive. The minutes are available in the Members Only area. In the wake of the decision by the general membership in Philadelphia to broaden the criteria for membership, Excom chair Bill Hirschman has appointed an ad hoc committee to prepare for a major membership drive. Headed by J. W. Arnold of South Florida Gay News, it includes Mark Lowry of Theatre Jones and Hirschman, in a apacity he refers to as “ex-officio kibitzer.” Contact Hirschman with any ideas.
